Samsung Galaxy A8 Leaks

Samsung is one of the largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. With the new A series, is it possible to be launched a successor to the series, the Galaxy A8?

The latest leaks show that the A8 will be the thinnest Galaxy yet. On the front, the phone looks a lot like the Galaxy S6. It has more rounded edges, different than the previous phones, and the bezels seem to be smaller. The sides are also going to be made of aluminum. However, the back is made of polycarbonate, which show why the phone is cataloged as a mid-range phone. The design is pretty nice, in my opinion.

The phone is going to have a 5.7 inch display, with a 1080p resolution, with a pixel density of 386, a 16 megapixel camera on the back, a 3050 mAh battery and also a fingerprint scanner. The heart rate monitor will not appear on the A8. The phone will come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, with Samsung's custom OS, TouchWiz, which is said to be very similar to the Galaxy S6's OS. It sounds like flagship specifications, right? The phone is assumed to be launched on the third quarter of 2015.

The Galaxy A8 will surely be a great phone, however, the specifications and the features it has to offer don't seem like mid-range specifications. I guess we shall find out in a very short amount of time.

Here are the latest leaks regarding the Galaxy A8:
